Do not recommend this dress or FEW MODA

This dress is of the poorest quality - save yourself the hassle and check out reputable brands for this look. The slit is cut WAY too high, the material feels like that of a low-end Target dress, and overall having to sign up for a $40 quarterly membership to buy THIS dress is ridiculous.

They removed my review when I chose one star. Let's see if it stays if I choose 2...

Flattering

I got this dress in the red gingham and it's so cute. The fabric feels really nice and thick. My only issue is that the dress runs slightly large just like others are saying. I'm 5'0", 32C, 115 lbs and bought an XS. The dress fits alright and I'll keep it to wear, but the top feels a little loose. I probably won't wear it with the sleeves down just in case it slips. I can't imagine anyone skinnier than me being able to keep the dress up and it's already the smallest size!
The slit to me seems fine. It matches the pictures of the model where it is higher up on the thigh.

Agreed with the other reviews that the slit is high. You either need to hold your dress if it's windy or use some fashion tape. That said the dress is so comfortable and flattering that it's worth the trouble.

RUNS BIG

I ordered this dress in the red and white checker and was so excited to receive it. When I tried it on it was too big, both in the shoulders and in the chest. I ordered the xs and am 5'2. It falls off my shoulders and doesn't stay up on my chest. The slit is also a little too high for casual wear (in my opinion). The fabric is soft and lined so it does feel high-quality, it's just unfortunate that it doesn't run true to size. If you're petite, this dress isn't for you.
