Fit: Slightly Smaller
So flattering, probably my favorite dress.

Definitely more of a night time dress, the slit goes high up the leg. Fabric is stiff but that's what gives such a nice silhouette (Fabric similar to the Samara set). Needs to be ironed or steamed before wearing to get the fabric to fall properly. So chic and sexy. I got the XS because I have a small ribcage but still have enough room for my breasts (C cup). It definitely runs tight around the ribcage, with plenty of room for hips (mine are very narrow and the dress gives me more of an hourglass figure which is nice). If I had wider hips there would still be plenty of room to wear comfortably.

Beautiful material, but runs very small

I was super excited about this dress, but unfortunately it didn't work out for me. The fabric is 100% linen, so it has no stretch but is very high quality. I'm 4'11 with a traditional hourglass shape and small chest, and I ordered a size M. I'm usually reliably a size M in most dresses since I have an hourglass figure, but since this fabric has no stretch, it didn't fit in the hips. Also, the slit is awkwardly high on this dress unless you have long legs. Had this dress fit, the slit would have been at the top of my thigh.

I imagine that this dress probably works best for narrow or straight builds, but anyone with hips or a butt might have a tough time, which is sad because it's such a classic dress and high quality. Personally, sizing up to an L would have made it way too big on top and I'm not sure that it would've solved the sizing in the hips / butt. Overall, just consider the lack of stretch and your usual challenge spots before ordering!

Elegant but sexy

I’m petite, 5’2” about 105 lbs, 32b, and this dress fit perfectly on me. I bought it for an outdoor party where it was going to be very hot and humid, and this was perfect. The material is a light linen so it was great for the weather and it looked elegant but sexy.
