Membership

What is Few Moda?

We are a members-only club that gives you direct access to beautifully crafted pieces made by the same manufacturers as the leading brands you know and love, at cost. We bypass the middlemen and the markups to bring you high fashion pieces without the high fashion prices.

What is the membership?

The Few Moda membership gives you access to high-quality products  from high end manufacturers, saving you up to 70% off retail when compared with leading brands. There are two types of Few Moda memberships - quarterly and yearly. The quarterly membership is $39 per quarter, and the yearly membership is $120 per year. Both plans come with free shipping, exchanges and returns on all U.S. orders. Both plans also guarantee savings. More than 90% of customers breakeven on their first order.

Is Few Moda membership open to international customers?

The membership is open to international customers. However, the perks of free shipping, returns and exchanges are only available to residential addresses in continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the other U.S. territories. We currently do not offer free shipping, returns and exchanges to members in international locations, but we hope to do so in the near future.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel a membership at any time.

Quarterly Membership:

If you have not yet placed any orders for product using your quarterly membership, you may cancel within 30 days of becoming a member. In this event, you will be refunded the full membership fee and your plan will be terminated. Otherwise, we offer cancellations only after the billing period has ended. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for quarterly membership.

We ask that you allow a least 72 hours before your next renewal to ensure that we process this in time.

Yearly Membership:

If you have not yet placed any orders for product using your yearly membership, you may cancel at any time. In this event, you will be refunded the full membership fee and your plan will be terminated. 

If you have placed one or more orders for product using your yearly membershipwe will deduct your cost savings (which is calculated as the Retail Price, i.e. non-member price, of the Products you ordered, minus the Members Price you paid for them, in addition to any shipping and return cost incurred) from the price of the membership. If your savings are greater than the cost of the membership ($120/year), you will not receive a refund on your membership. If your savings are less than the cost of the membership, you will be eligible for the refund policy stated above.

How much will I save with a Few Moda membership?

Few Moda members shop directly from the world's finest manufacturers, saving up to 70% off retail price every single day. The more you purchase, the more you save. On average our members save $150+ per order.

In fact, we are so confident you will save as a Few Moda member that we guarantee it: if you don’t make back your membership fee in savings over the year, we’ll refund you the difference when you cancel.

What is Savings Guarantee?

We guarantee that you will make back your membership in savings each membership year. If you don’t, we’ll refund you the difference if you decide to cancel. 

Can I return or exchange an item if I don’t like it?

Absolutely. Exchanges and returns are always free for members. We accept returns and exchanges within 28 days from your order ship date. After 28 days, we will no longer accept returns or exchanges.

Are there any restrictions?

No restriction on categories. No limitation on spending or # of items purchased. No commitment, cancel anytime. 

Can I use my previous store credit with the membership?

Absolutely. Like we said, no restrictions.

What if other retailer put your product on sale and the price is lower than what I get from my membership?

We will match any online retailer’s price (even clearance) within 30 days of your purchase.

How can you offer products at such low prices?

Few Moda connects members directly with the world's finest manufacturers - farm to table style. By cutting out the middlemen and removing the traditional retail markup, all members pay for is the cost of goods, packaging, warehousing and fulfillment. 

Is the subscription a recurring charge?

Yes! We’ll let you know when you’re within 7 days of your renewal date - your membership will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle. If you’d like to turn off automatic renewal, please let our Customer Services team know prior to your renewal date at customerservice@fewmoda.com.

Why is there a membership fee?

Our mission is to disrupt how traditional retail works and how it has always worked for decades. We aim to radically change the game by rethinking the entire retail pipeline. The annual membership model allows us to offer our products at cost, while covering the operation cost and offering all members with free shipping, returns and changes all year round. 

The $120 annual cost breaks down to just $10 per month, and most members find they make back the cost in savings within just one order.

Can I buy Few Moda products without a membership?

No. Few Moda is a members only platform. Being a Few Moda member is like having a backstage pass to the world's finest manufacturers, plus year-round free shipping, exchange and return.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa as well as online store credit.

I have a question about my order, what should I do?

We’re happy to answer questions about Orders, Shipping, Returns, & Cancellations…and pretty much anything else you can throw at us.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, we are not able to change out the items in an order once the order has been placed. We can however cancel an order at any point before it gets processed. You can then place a new order for the correct product. To cancel an item, contact our customer service team with your request.

I noticed that many products are made to order. Why is that?

A MTO business model is a method where we begin the manufacturing process after you place your order. With this method, we can create higher quality products for our consumers while minimizing our carbon footprint!

It is our job at Few Moda to promote sustainability in our brand as much as possible. The ordering time will be a little bit longer, but the MTO method ensures you receive a high quality product while benefiting the environment in a number of ways. Head here to learn more about MTO - the sustainable fashion production.

 


 

Shipping

When will my order ship out?

Most of our items are shipped within the specified time listed on the product page, i.e. "Expected to ship x business days after purchase". We ask that you check this information carefully before placing the order, if you need your item before certain dates. If not specified, items will ship within 2 business days of purchase. Items that are made to order typically take a bit longer to ship, from 8 to 15 business days depending on the manufacturer. This is also specified on the product page, above the "Made to Order" button.

**Temporary COVID-19 update - For the health and safety of our team, we only have a small and very limited team on-site. We will process all orders as quickly as possible, but there may be delays due to limited staffing. 

How long does it take my order to arrive? Can it be expedited?

When you first place an order, you will also receive an e-mail to confirm your order has been placed, and a second e-mail confirming your order has shipped. The tracking information will be provided in the shipped e-mail. You can also log into your Few Moda account and select the order you’d like to look up.

How do your clothes fit?

Our products are generally true to size. Depending on the style, some styles are more fitted, and some styles are oversized. Please refer to the fit notes and general size guide. 

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Not in love? No problem. We accept returns and exchanges within 28 days from your order ship date. After 28 days, we will no longer accept returns or exchanges.

A small number of heavily discounted items may be marked FINAL SALE, in which case they are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached. Please be careful of makeup or deodorant rubbing off on the garment, as items in these conditions won’t be accepted. If items in these conditions are sent back for exchange/return, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs incurred. 

We are committed to providing quality products at accessible price. If your product is damaged due to a material or manufacturing error, we’ll replace it or work with you on another solution. Get in touch with us at customerservice@fewmoda.com.

How do I start a return or exchange?

To start a Return or Exchange, head over to returns.fewmoda.com and enter your email. We’ll send you an email that links to your order history — from there, you can select which items you’re sending back and print a prepaid return label.

For exchanges, you can try a new color / size for any style when selecting which items you’re sending back. This is based on available inventory. We’ll ship the new color / size as soon as your package is dropped off and scanned at the carrier. Free of charge, both ways!

We recommend you drop off the package at your earliest convenience after requesting your desired exchange, so it does not sell out in the meantime. 

Where can I find my shipping label?

Head over to returns.fewmoda.com and move through the usual return steps. You’ll receive a prepaid shipping label once we know which items you’re sending our way.

How long does a refund or exchange take to process?

Please allow 5 business days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed. Once we have your items checked in, we’ll send the refund your way. Exchange items will be sent out as soon as the original item is dropped off and scanned at the carrier. 

*Please note that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, our warehouse is taking longer than usual to process returns. Please allow 7-14 business days for your returns to be processed.  

Manufacturing & Sustainability

How do you ensure your products quality?

From fabric sourcing, pattern printing, pre-production sample, fitting, to final production, all of our labels are manufactured and QC’ed in-house. By cutting out the middle man, we are able to keep the cost low and quality high. Having our own factory also allows us to prioritize quality, compliance to worker’s safety, fair wages and benefits and dedication to minimizing environmental impacts (things like water waste and air emissions).

How do you ensure products are ethically produced?

People: On par with industry leaders in sustainability and social compliance, our in-house factory ensures employees are safe, paid fairly, given benefits, and work regulated hours. We aim to have a positive impact on the people and resources that bring our clothing to life.

Materials / Fabrics: We incorporate sustainable material such as linen, Tencel™ Lyocell, and Tencel™ Modal whenever possible without surging up the product prices for our customers. 

Linen is one of the most biodegradable and stylish fabrics in fashion history. It is strong, naturally moth resistant, and made from flax plant fibers, so when untreated (i.e. not dyed) it is fully biodegradable. Its natural colors include ivory, ecru, tan and grey. Linen can withstand high temperatures – making the fabric generally perfect for raiding the jungle or lounging on a tropical island. It absorbs moisture without holding bacteria. In fact, it is actually stronger when wet than dry and becomes softer and more pliable the more it is washed. It just gets better and better!

TENCEL™ lyocell fiber comes from the pulp of trees which is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent. The solution is extruded through fine holes to produce fiber and the solvent is recycled in a closed-loop process – more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused. The benefits of using TENCEL lyocell include the traceable and sustainable origin of the wood pulp, and the use of non-toxic chemicals and solvents in the fiber processing. In addition, TENCEL™ lyocell is a high-tenacity cellulosic fiber, which gives high strength properties to the fabric.

TENCEL™ Modal is also a wood based fiber. TENCEL™ Modal is processed from sustainably managed beechwood forests in northern and central Europe. Fiber yield of beechwood trees is 2 times higher than that of cotton plants. TENCEL™ Modal wood-based fibers exhibits high flexibility and offer textiles a long-lasting quality of exquisite softness. Due to the fiber's sleek cross section, TENCEL™ Modal fibers enhance the soft touch of fabrics even after repeated washing.
