Sizing off for me

I loved these but am between sizes and it just didn't work -- small was too tight in the waist and hips but the next size up was too big

Large in the pelvic area

I wanted to like these - everything fit well except it was baggy in the pelvic area so it just looked strange on me. I think it has to do with the pleats. Bummed because these would've been perfect otherwise.
