I’m almost always an 8 in brands but this dress seemed one or two sizes too big. I exchanged it for a 6 which was just a bit tight. Really weird! Unfortunate because I really liked the look and feel of it. Heads up though the slit is high.

Beautiful Dress

I had to size up in this dress to accommodate my (what I wish was professional) athletic build but once I got beyond the mental impact of sizing up, the dress fit perfectly.

My next step is to get it tailored to be shorter. I'm 5'6" and found that the length as it stands isn't super flattering for me.

But the quality of the garment is real and I love the color!

P.S. Athletic build, to me, means a wider rib cage than a model, an actual bum, and muscular legs. I'm 5'6" and weigh about 170 lbs - most of which I want to believe is muscle but as a mom, some of it is not :)

Cute and flattering!

This was a very flattering dress. Got a lot of compliments. My only issue with it is that the slit was a little too high and my entire leg/thigh is exposed when I sit. But still loved it and felt great wearing it!

Beautiful dress

So this dress is awesome, very well made and has a beautiful heavy fabric. However, other reviewers said this dress runs large but for me, the dress runs small. I’m 5’5” hourglass (150 lbs) and the size 8 was just a smidge tight. Ordered a size 10 and that fit great. Also, another thing to note: if you are heavier in the chest area, you may see a seam running across the chest which is weird, not sure why they would put a seam there.
